Which auto insurance companies accept Zelle?
In order to pay for auto insurance with Zelle, both your bank and your insurance company must be partnered with Zelle. In 2021, there are only three auto insurance companies that accept Zelle.

These providers have an agreement with Zelle that comes with certain requirements and perks. Some providers accept Zelle as a form of insurance payment while others only use the service to pay out insurance claims.
For example, USAA Bank is a partner of Zelle, making it easy for all USAA customers to pay all of their USAA bills conveniently through one mobile app.
USAA also offers the cheapest auto insurance rates of the three, but it’s only available to active military members, veterans, and their immediate families.
If you choose to have a policy with State Farm, you must have an account with U.S. Bank in order to use Zelle payment processing. You may be able to use Zelle with another bank, but, currently, U.S. Bank is the only one in a partnership with Zelle and State Farm insurance.

Allstate does not currently accept Zelle for auto insurance payments, but policyholders can use Zelle to receive claims payments quickly. Payments are available within 48 hours to customers with Zelle with Fast Mobile e-Payments.
Zelle customers register with Allstate using their phone number or email address and funds are sent directly to the bank account linked with Zelle. If you prefer a faster Allstate claim payment, you can also sign up for Quick Card Pay with your debit card number.
If your bank isn’t one of Zelle’s partners, you may have better luck comparing auto insurance rates from companies that accept other forms of online payment.
For example, if you are looking at Travelers Insurance, Zelle is not an option. However, Travelers’ customers can now receive claims payments via PayPal, which does not require a bank account.
